Welcome to Ministerial Day Care Association.
MDCA is a federally funded Head Start program that serves 3 to 5 year olds and a Baby Bright Day Care program that serves infants and toddlers.
Our agency serves 607 Head Start children and we have the capacity to serve 90 newborns, 90 infants and 210 toddlers. We operate 10 centers throughout northeast Ohio. We strive for excellence by establishing comprehensive partnerships in the community and meeting the needs of special needs children and their families. MDCA's priorities involve educating parents and guardians in the fundamental skills needed to attain self-sufficiency and parental success.
As a delegate Head Start agency under the Council of Economic Opportunities in Greater Cleveland, the goal of our program is to provide quality child care and Head Start services to low- and middle-income families.
MDCA has three centers that have been awarded a one-star rating in Step Up To Quality. They are Children's First Learning Center located at 12421 Superior Ave., Hough Children's First Learning Center located at 8409 Hough Ave. and Superior Academy located at 7020 Superior Ave.
